YOLO= You Oughta Love Owls

I did a little crafting in the classroom this week to add more owls to my room!

Here are some before and afters!

My students from last year know I love owls and one girl made me the foam owl that is next to my dog's picture below:

Have I ever shown you my balloon wreath that my mother gave me (and is trying to steal back)?

I put an owl eraser in the center and it makes me happy!

Staples Engineering Prints

Last summer I decided that I wanted to re-do my bedroom.  I painted the room purple, which i've always wanted to do, but the big thing I wanted was prints for my walls.  I did a lot of research and man were prints expensive in the sizes that I wanted! Finally, I learned about  Staples Engineering Prints They are super cheap, and actually print really nicely (even though the website claims they are not intended for photos).  Take a look at how mine turned out (Don't mind the mess, this was still in the putting back together phase). How I did it: After my prints came in the mail, I went to Lowes and found  This . All I did was trace the print on the insulation board, cut it with a regular box cutter, and paint the edges of it with a Paint Sample  that accented my walls.  The last step was gluing the print to the insulation board. Surprise packages!

So one of my amazing readers sent me a completely unexpected package today and it was AWESOME! Meowie Wowie catnip that is hilariously cute! I have an obsession with fun school supplies….cat and dog pens! Rory got a hat! She looks like an old lady golfer! Hawaii mags and guide brochure Owl cards! Treats! Stuffed fuzzy owl, owl timer, sea horse for Rory, dog bone to share (or for guests), and star fish for Gatsby. Joy you are awesome and picked out things absolutely perfect for me! Thank you so much!
